Electronic Data Interchange
EDI, short for "Electronic Data Interchange," and is just another name for receiving appraisals via the internet. EDI enables appraisers and lenders to cut costs, reduce report preparation, and speed up delivery time. To receive appraisal reports via EDI, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader® and an e-mail account. You must also have a color printer to print a hard copy of the report.
